This month’s competition gives all you amateur photographers out there a chance to show off your skills for a chance to win one of three great prizes, courtesy of Piccadilly’s London Camera Exchange

It’ll come as no surprise that we want you to focus on Piccadilly in your quest for a winning photograph; with the theme Life in Piccadilly, you have the opportunity to submit a photograph that best sums up Manchester’s Piccadilly area to you.

Because we don’t want to inhibit your creative flair, you are free to snap anything within the Piccadilly area – anything suitable, of course!

PRIZES

The winners will receive:

• 1st prize - Hawke 8x42 binocular (worth £90)

• 2nd - 7” digital photo frame +2gb SD memory card (worth £40)

• 3rd - 50 x digital images to be printed to 7x5 in London Camera Exchange’s instore minilab

The best photographs submitted will be showcased on this site. If the photographs really are that little bit special, piccadillymanchester.com will arrange for them to be exhibited in an appropriate Piccadilly venue; this is a great chance to get your work noticed if you are thinking of moving up into the professional ranks.

2. Any image submitted must have been taken within the Piccadilly area of Manchester and must be no larger than 6MB
3. Entrants to this competition must not be a professional photographer
4. Please do not post any photographs that are obscene, vulgar, pornographic, hateful, threatening, racist, sexist, discriminatory, or which otherwise violate any local or international laws. Staff of piccadillymanchester.com will ultimately decide if something is appropriate or not and act accordingly.
5. Competition is open to entrants of all ages; if you are under 16, please gain the permission of a parent or guardian to enter this competition.
6. Piccadillymanchester.com reserves the right to showcase each photographer in an online image gallery.
7. It is the responsibility of the entrant to gain permissions, as appropriate.
8. The photographer must be the sole author and owner of the copyright of photos entered in to the competition. The copyright remains with the photographer, although by entering the competition you authorise piccadillymanchester.com a non-exclusive royalty free usage of your photo in the promotion and use of this competition for a maximum period of 5 years with credit to the photographer.
9. Although we endeavour to provide quality prizes via sponsoring companies, piccadillymanchester.com cannot warrant the quality of their product/service and you agree not to hold piccadillymanchester.com, or its staff liable for any losses, costs or liabilities that may arise in association with the prize(s) or sponsoring companies.
