Visit Britain has awarded SACO’s new serviced apartments in Piccadilly, Manchester a 4* rating in recognition of the excellent standard of accommodation and service.

Launched by SACO in August as an alternative to a hotel for corporate and leisure travellers, the 48 apartments have been classified as having an excellent level of quality and comfort, scoring an overall 80 per cent in the Visit Britain assessment.

The apartments were commended for their high standards of cleanliness and positive first impressions. The assessment also highlighted the professional booking service and personal greeting on arrival at the apartments.

Vicci Hollies, apartment manager at SACO Manchester said: “The last few months have been really exciting with the launch and getting the team in place. To be awarded this recognition so soon after opening is the icing on the cake.

“We know we’ve got exacting standards and it’s great to have that recognised by England’s national tourism body.”

The apartments are located in The Hub at the new Piccadilly Place development, extremely close to Piccadilly train station.

The studio, one and two bedroom apartments are set over the top three floors of a stunning new cast-stone building in a new piazza. They all have floor to ceiling glazing which open onto ‘Juliet’ balconies or outside seating areas, offering city views.

There is also a reception with access to a concierge as well as guaranteed underground parking. Entrance is via a private courtyard with dramatic sculptures and water features.
