Starbucks opens its doors to Piccadilly Place

Leading coffee house brand Starbucks recently opened its doors to the public at its new home in Three Piccadilly Place. Starbucks is the first retailer to take a unit at Piccadilly Place (pictured) and the owner of the development, The Carlyle Group, is confident that this is the shape of things to come.

Mark Harris, director of the Carlyle Group, said: "Starbucks is the perfect brand for Piccadilly Place. We have been listening to feedback from our occupiers and this was just the sort of place that they envisaged bringing their clients to for more relaxed meetings over coffee.

"The development has become an iconic new gateway to Manchester and we want to ensure that all of the retailers that take space here are able to work together to provide the perfect atmosphere for the people who live, work and spend their leisure time at Piccadilly Place."

Andrea George, agent at Tushingham Moore, said: "We are extremely pleased that Starbucks is now up and running at Piccadilly Place and we are optimistic about letting the remaining retail / leisure units. The Piazza will have a real buzz; it will be a fantastic place to socialise and a national coffee house like Starbucks fits perfectly within the development."
