One destination, one reason to stay, one place to work, one home. Partnerships are at the heart of modern life. They define countless relationships, bring people together and connect businesses from different sectors. In order to reposition the Piccadilly area and build on the unprecedented levels of investment, the Piccadilly Partnership was created in 2003 to drive forward the regeneration of what has always been seen as Manchester’s traditional 'heart and soul'

The Partnership is a strategic and pioneering alliance of public and private sectors, bringing together key landowners, Manchester City Council, Cityco, GMPTE, Marketing Manchester, other public sector services and local occupiers. It provides an important forum for consultation, discussion and debate on all issues influencing the Piccadilly area.

Piccadilly is changing fast. The Piccadilly Partnership has achieved a great deal in the last three years. Together, we have prepared the ground for around £1.2 billion of new investment in the area’s transport facilities, public realm, buildings and land use.

The major changes that have taken place in Piccadilly over the last few years would not have been possible without the public and private sectors working together in such an innovative and forward-thinking way. The Partnership will continue to champion the area and set a clear strategic direction in order to enable project delivery.
