A variety of treats for you creative types, Piccadilly's craft and gift market is due to take place over four weekends in April and May in Piccadilly Gardens from 10am until 5.30pm.
Visitors can stroll through the bustling gardens, marvelling at the crafty creations such as Nepalese clothing from Priya Trading, fun cards from Easy Tiger, fair trade bags, hats and other accessories from BoHo's, all things wooden from Timber Treasures and decorated glassware from the likes of Oskar Amber (item pictured), Ian Chadwick Glass Art and Barry Cooper Glass Design Studio.
With different stalls every weekend, shoppers will be spoilt for choice in the search for that unusual gift or treat for the home.
The market isn't all about arts and crafts either, as alongside the exquisite goods the tempting food stalls are certain to tickle the tastebuds. Lakeland Picnic will be serving up delicious burgers, sausages alongside stalls offering Spanish favourites such as paella and chorizo and Indian dishes for those who like it hot and spicy.
Mark Legomski, head of markets at Manchester City Council said: “The Manchester markets are a unique part of our area’s history, with many traders whose families have been in the market business for generations. The craft and gift market offers the opportunity to sample various original products, making for an unforgettable shopping experience.”
From foodies to fashionistas the craft and gift market has everything you’re looking for. The array of photography, gifts, jewellery and specialist ales will ensure to include everyone, and make sure they all have a unique experience to take away from it.
