The countdown is on to the launch of In The City – the UK’s Premier New Music Conference and Festival.

This year, for the first time, In The City moves to Piccadilly and the Northern Quarter. From October 13 - 15 October, In The City will see the global leaders of the music industry gather at the daytime conference.

In the evening, the live festival will showcase the best national and international talent, with over 200 of the world’s most exciting new acts filling 20 venues and bars throughout the Northern Quarter.

In The City’s chief operating officer, Philip Coen, announced "I am delighted to be relocating to Piccadilly and the Northern Quarter, where our conference base will be City Inn, Malmaison, Abode and The Place. This is a great opportunity for stakeholders and local businesses to position themselves before an international audience."

Coen, who is actively inviting stakeholders to engage with the event across a number of opportunities (from sponsorship to co-marketing) added "We believe the event will bring substantial economic benefits to the area."
